The man and woman, aged 79 and 85, suffered fatal injuries after a crash on the A697 in the Scottish Borders on Friday.

The 79-year-old man was driving a red Kia Venga with the woman, 85, in the passenger seat when they were involved in a collision with a blue Kia Sportage on the A697 between Carfraemill and Greenlaw, near the town of Lauder.
They were both pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened around 4.30pm on Friday.
The female driver of the Kia Sportage was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment, Police Scotland said.
The road was closed for seven hours after the collision.
Police have now launched an investigation, calling on any drivers who witnessed the crash or who have information or dashcam footage to get in touch.
Road Policing Sergeant Kosmas Papakyriakou said: "Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of those involved in this incident."
