Chiều 3/8, Bộ GD&ĐT thông tin, học sinh lớp 10 năm học 2022-2023 sẽ học 8 môn bắt buộc và bỏ việc chia nhóm môn như trước đó. Điều chỉnh này được đưa ra sát thời điểm chuẩn bị khai giảng năm học mới và học sinh lớp 10 năm nay là năm đầu tiên áp dụng chương trình giáo dục phổ thông mới.
Bộ GD&ĐT thông tin, để thực hiện Nghị quyết Quốc hội khoá XV, Bộ đã thành lập Ban phát triển chương trình giáo dục phổ thông, Ban phát triển Chương trình môn Lịch sử và Hội đồng thẩm định nội dung điều chỉnh Chương trình tổng thể, Hội đồng thẩm định Chương trình môn Lịch sử.
Và chiều nay, Bộ ban hành Thông tư sửa đổi, bổ sung một số nội dung trong Chương trình giáo dục phổ thông.
Theo đó, môn Lịch sử (từ môn học lựa chọn thuộc nhóm môn Khoa học xã hội) trở thành môn học bắt buộc. Như vậy, chương trình có 8 môn học, hoạt động giáo dục bắt buộc gồm: Ngữ văn; Toán; Ngoại ngữ 1; Lịch sử; Giáo dục thể chất; Giáo dục Quốc phòng và An ninh; Hoạt động trải nghiệm, hướng nghiệp; Nội dung giáo dục của địa phương.
Bộ GD&ĐT cũng điều chỉnh số môn học lựa chọn còn 9 môn và không chia thành các nhóm môn như trước.
Như vậy, học sinh sẽ chọn 4 môn học trong 9 môn lựa chọn. Các môn lựa chọn gồm: Địa lí; Giáo dục kinh tế và pháp luật; Vật lí; Hóa học; Sinh học; Công nghệ; Tin học; Âm nhạc; Mĩ thuật.
Đối với Chương trình môn Lịch sử cấp Trung học phổ thông, môn học này sẽ bắt buộc đối với tất cả học sinh, có thời lượng là 52 tiết/năm (được điều chỉnh từ thời lượng 70 tiết/năm). Chuyên đề học tập lựa chọn Lịch sử gồm 35 tiết/năm.
Việc điều chỉnh theo các nguyên tắc cơ bản là tuân thủ mục tiêu, quan điểm xây dựng chương trình của Chương trình tổng thể và đặc điểm môn học Lịch sử; Không thay đổi cấu trúc chương trình đã ban hành, củng cố kiến thức phổ thông ở giai đoạn Giáo dục cơ bản, giúp học sinh hiểu sâu hơn kiến thức cốt lõi qua các chủ đề nhằm phát triển phẩm chất, năng lực người học...
Đồng thời phải coi trọng kiến thức Lịch sử dân tộc nhằm nâng cao giáo dục lòng yêu quê hương đất nước, tinh thần tự hào dân tộc, truyền thống lịch sử và văn hoá dân tộc; Phần Lịch sử bắt buộc phải bảo đảm tính khả thi, bảo đảm sự phù hợp, vừa sức đối với tất cả học sinh.
