Về dịch Covid-19 hôm nay 8-8, Bộ Y tế cho biết số mắc tăng 324 ca mắc so với ngày trước đó. Cùng ngày, số bệnh nhân Covid-19 nặng cũng tăng lên 78 trường hợp.
Về tình hình dịch Covid-19 hôm nay, Bộ Y tế cho biết từ 16 giờ ngày 7-8 đến 16 giờ ngày 8-8, trên Hệ thống Quốc gia quản lý ca bệnh Covid-19 ghi nhận 1.705 ca nhiễm, tăng 324 ca mắc so với ngày trước đó.
Kể từ đầu dịch đến nay, Việt Nam có 11.349.223 ca nhiễm, đứng thứ 12/227 quốc gia và vùng lãnh thổ, trong khi với tỉ lệ số ca nhiễm/1 triệu dân, Việt Nam đứng thứ 112/227 quốc gia và vùng lãnh thổ (bình quân cứ 1 triệu người có 114.439 ca nhiễm).

Trong ngày, cả nước có 9.223 bệnh nhân được công bố khỏi bệnh, nâng tổng số ca được điều trị khỏi lên 9.982.345 ca. Số bệnh nhân đang thở ôxy là 78 ca.
Tổng số ca tử vong do Covid-19 tại Việt Nam tính đến nay là 43.094 ca, chiếm tỉ lệ 0,4% so với tổng số ca nhiễm.
Tổng số ca tử vong xếp thứ 24/227 vùng lãnh thổ, số ca tử vong trên 1 triệu dân xếp thứ 134/227 quốc gia, vùng lãnh thổ trên thế giới. So với châu Á, tổng số ca tử vong xếp thứ 6/49 (xếp thứ 3 ASEAN), tử vong trên 1 triệu dân xếp thứ 27/49 quốc gia, vùng lãnh thổ châu Á (xếp thứ 5 ASEAN).
Trong ngày 7-8 có 183.713 liều vắc-xin Covid-19 được tiêm. Như vậy, tổng số liều vắc-xin đã được tiêm là 248.793.043 liều, trong đó:
Số liều tiêm cho người từ 18 tuổi trở lên là 214.968.753 liều: Mũi 1 là 71.310.035 liều; Mũi 2 là 68.878.760 liều; Mũi 3 (vắc-xin Abdala) là 1.513.686 liều; Mũi bổ sung là 13.945.355 liều; Mũi nhắc lại lần 1 là 48.666.668 liều; Mũi nhắc lại lần 2 là 10.654.249 liều.
Số liều tiêm cho trẻ từ 12-17 tuổi là 21.070.634 liều: Mũi 1 là 9.057.469 liều; Mũi 2 là 8.714.172 liều; Mũi nhắc lại lần 1 là 3.298.993 liều.
Số liều tiêm cho trẻ từ 5-11 tuổi là 12.753.656 liều: Mũi 1 là 8.206.303 liều; Mũi 2 là 4.547.353 liều
